How about alt-text? Is that possible?
That makes it easier on feed-readers such as me.

May I also suggest that your fiction get a spine and that you book it on over to the RPC store?

We tried that and it was very difficult to implement given the .php script we were using (walrus). We also find that feeds deny us useful traffic, so we like to encourage people to visit the actual site by having something that the feed doesn't give.

Haha, great pun! The answer is: yes, eventually, but for complicated reasons, not right now.

What Peter is legally obligated not to say is that if you go to the site itself, you can click the ads and generate some money for him, which is not optional generally with RSS feeds. Feed the starving artist: Visit the site. If you see and ad that makes your clicking finger curious, do not feel inhibited.

Seriously, have you seen how skinny the man is? He could use more food at his orphanage. ;)

Haha, thanks trilli! I've recently been revisiting the Marxists in my coursework and I'm feeling like a sell-out that no one will buy, so it's nice to have someone to interpret my guilty evasion.

The little failed Marxist in me wants to defend that "useful traffic" also means traffic that I can divert to cool sites like Squairheads, Buttersafe, and Desert Bus for Hope, but he lost his credibility years ago.

You could have your little Marxist argue that the use brought by the diversion is greater than the money you get for it.

But OK, I see your point. I think SMBC does that too.

The Archive is back by popular demand. I'm not sure how obvious it will be, but it does logically situate the SEARCH: bar.

What would you think is a good color for links?

This is a URL
This a URL to a site not in your history
This is plain text

EDIT: I am only now noticing a blue line, it's not always there for me.

EDIT2: Image
Sorry about the picture quality, photobucket is automatically resizing my images, but yeh, that link has no blue line.

Is there any way you could double up the arrows so that there's a set above the comics as well?

Hey Cap'n, If you need some time to catch up with things you could try doing a guest week. I know the guy from Squareheads would probably help out :)
