I am looking at getting some recording equipment soon enough, but until then i though i might post some lyrics in here.

This is one of the first songs i ever wrote, it is pretty much untitled.
Criticism welcome.

EDIT: Chords are simple enough, Capo 3, D A C G in 4:4 time, played at whatever speed and interval i feel like at the time.
EDIT 2: ok so now its Capo 2nd fret, and during the instrumentals i play inversions. My songs usually go through many stages before they're finished.

In case you havent noticed my musical style could most readily be described as country/folk/emo.

O_B, it's emo, but actually it reminds me a bit of a song by Cake. Which YouTube users are apparently crediting as first being done by Willie Nelson. I'm not one to argue it.

Long time no see BSB. I recorded a song of mine over the holidays with Peter. It's me on vocals, guitar, bass and harmonica and Peter on drums. Peter recorded, mixed and mastered it too.

Oh, also, I decided on a new title, "The Ballad of Marie Brown", and Peter said he was going to change that soon enough, so that link might go dead if he does that, in which case I'll try and update this post.

Its hardly perfect, i stuffed up the riff into the bridge and i dont think i hit every note and its a little quiet in some parts but oh well. Always room for improvement.
