I'm noticing that more and more I'm writing comics that I want to draw rather than drawing comics I want to write. I would worry about this if I wasn't so stoked over drawing dinosaurs in fishbowl astronaut helmets.

Okay, so I'm trying a weird zombie outbreak social experiment at Vancouver Fan Expo this weekend, and it would be awesome if you could help out!
Basically, I want to see how fast a zombie infection could spread at a convention, and because everything is more fun when there's a score attached, I'm turning the experiment into a bit of a minigame and giving away free stuff.

This weekend at an art show I decided to try a social experiment and run my table on a "pay whatever the hell you feel like" policy.
It was a small, fun, quirky show, so it was a controlled venue for trying this out. I honestly didn't know what to expect, but it had always been something I wanted to try, so I figured I'd go for it and reap the consequences.
Reader and Volunteer in Need of Help

Ravyn Crescent is a volunteer and anti-human tracking activist who also happens to be a long-time reader of the comic. She recently suffered a serious accident and broke her hip, racking up $17,000 in medical bills and sustaining a debilitating injury right after being offered paid work in the charitable sector. That position is now in jeopardy.
A friend of hers arranged an Indiegogo campaign to help cover the cost of her surgery and hospitalization and help her get back on her feet. While I haven't personally met her, her record of volunteerism and activism are inspiring, and I hope we can do something to help her out.

Rock, Paper, Cynic has developed a lot over the years, and I'm so stoked that you guys have been such a huge part of it. I want to start involving you more in the comic and gearing the website to be able to do things that make the world a more exciting place to live.
That's why I'm going to be rolling out some new ideas during 2013.
