The Homeric Guide to Properly Using the Word EPIC

This whole comic started because KFC was advertising the epic crunch. If there was ever a misuse of the word "epic" that might draw the divine wrath of mighty Apollo, that would be it.

Granted, I toss the word "epic" around a fair bit because it's just such a delightful adjective, but I equally love the thought of Homer shaking his great, shaggy head, saying, "I don't think that word means what you think it means."
