The Paradox of the Sochi Olympics
The Olympics have always been a paradox.
They're about about fair play and cheating, integrity and corruption, acceptance and bigotry.
This year, the Olympics are also about self-expression and censorship. For the athletes more than anyone, the Olympics are an opportunity to show the world who they are and what they're capable of.
And that's the paradox of this year's Olympics: You're free to be all you can be, but not who you are.
